November 4th

A children's assembly was established and it elected Anna as president, Róbert as red secretary and Holfriður as yellow secretary. The whole group gathered to celebrate that the principal was visiting us. Kristín Laufey introduced herself and conducted the voting on who would be the president and secretaries. For the reasons of many who attended, it was used " Úllen, dúllen dof" .

At the beginning of the meeting, Kristín got the floor and she explained to us how the letter was presented to the management and that she had also talked to the cook and together they agreed to distribute the food that was provided by the children's assembly during the theme week. It turned out that Pattý forgot to write a cake in a proposal to management. Kristín explained that young children cannot eat food with a lot of sugar, but that the school can give cakes in small quantities.

Regarding decorations, Kristín Laufey will help the children make dinosaurs to decorate the school. To do this, she plans to write a letter to the parents and request materials for recycling. It was also voted to ask parents for a picture of them playing with their children on November 20, which is Children's Rights Day. This picture will be used as a decoration in the nursery. Kristin Laufey will visit us again to read us a letter.

Comments: Although the group was large, it showed good behavior and, furthermore, that the children are learning to be a close-knit group and willing to cooperate.
